                                                    This work is a carved image of a bearded man crowned with vine leaves.  The lines of the linocut are smooth and graceful, indicative of the medium used.  The colors are reminiscent of Greek red-figure pottery.  The manipulation of geometric form and shapes depict his cubist style born out of influences to the earlier part of the 20th century.
